Choosing a Die Casting Supplier for Technical Capabilities & Material Expertise
Not all die casters are created equal. Some specialize in massive automotive parts, while others focus on miniature, high-precision components.
Material Range: Do they work with your specific alloy (Aluminum, Zinc,)? Each has different melting points and flow characteristics.
Machine Tonnage: Ensure their press capacity matches your part size. Too small a machine leads to poor quality; too large leads to unnecessary costs.
Complexity: Ask to see samples of parts with similar wall thicknesses or internal geometries to yours.
