Optimize Draft Angles
Draft is a slight taper (usually 1° to 3°) added to the walls of a part to allow it to release from the mold easily. Proper draft angles reduce tool wear and prevent part "galling" or sticking, which speeds up the production cycle and extends the life of expensive dies.
