Die casting is a high-speed manufacturing process used to produce dimensionally accurate, smooth-surfaced metal parts. Often described as "injection molding for metal," it involves forcing molten metal under high pressure into a reusable steel mold, known as a die.
For engineers, it is the go-to for complex geometries and thin walls. For buyers, it offers the lowest per-unit cost for high-volume production.
